Post subject: Forgot user name and password |

I booted up an old server with my first spot install on it. It keeps saying logon failed. Is there some way to recover my username and password? I thought it was left at the default. I am using version 4.

To reset your Configuration Manager password, replace your pass parameter under [gateway] section of config.ini with the following:
pass =a03af780c0f2959f26512a2cc8c2efb6
Your password is now reset back to "password"

| What if the user name has changed. Where could I find that to set it back to "firstspot"? |

replacing the user parameter inside config.ini with this will do:
user = firstspot
