we are running a Multi-network segment setup. currently to track which location people are signing up ( Reporting Reasons ) we have sets of shopping carts for each location "location1 1 day access" "location2 1 day access" and so on.
is there a better way of tracking these sign-ups?
also is there a limitation of how many shopping cart plans we can have. it looks like your limitation is 85 or so shopping cart plans? |

Currently the self sign-up IP (for IP-based Session Handling) is stored in the field signupmac in table fsusr. You can use this information to deduce which network segment that the user signs up from.
As for Shopping Cart, maybe you should use the new v7 Shopping Cart items (instead of Plans)? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

can you please explain the format that this is stored in. the numbers stored in this field do not match ip's or mac addresses of the users, or routers they are behind.
Also if i get this field to work does it update if the user pays for time at another site or does it only record the initial site the name was paid and setup at? |

Since you are using IP-based Session Handing, please use PHP function long2ip to convert.
Currently, this feature only records the initial sign-up client IP (assuming IP-based Session Handling). _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
