To test, make sure the client PC can obtain the IP from FirstSpot DHCP server. If you run ipconfig/all command from client PC, you should be able to see the domain suffix as firstspot.org and the gateway as Visitor Network Interface IP.

We don't have a official French translation. But you should be able to translate the end user page. The file lang.php stores the default text. Your customized text is stored in custom_lang.php. Refer to chapter 3 (UI Customization section) of firstspot_guide.pdf for more explanation.

This looks correct.

The easiest way to test is use the client PC to access to a normal web site like http://apple.com . It should be automatically redirected to the FirstSpot login page.
