|
|
hi guys,
yesterday the resort rang and said the wifi network was visible but nobody could use it when they connected, or it would try and connect but not let them (as if they werent getting an IP). This is after running for around 5 days. The internet interface was fine, i logged on, restarted firstspot, then suddenly clients could connect again.
This morning, 18 hours or so later, exactly the same problem has happened.
How can we work out whats causing this? Note this is a big resort.
thanks

We need more information preferably from a PC client. E.g. can the client obtain the IP? Or after obtaining the IP, he cannot access the login page? You need to run command like ping or nslookup to confirm which operation has issue. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Another thing to test is if this problem happens again, try to restart Apache service at Windows Service Console (instead of restarting the whole FirstSpot). That way we will which component is having issue. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
