Hi, is it possible to deploy an hotspot and administer it from a remote location with Firstspot via internet ?

Yes. Make sure you select the option "Allow configuration manager access from the public network (i.e. Internet)" under Configuration Manager tab.

You can do remote admin with FirstSpot which works great, but you can also install a small program like RAdmin (remote administrator 2.1) from a download site. Or if you have windows 2k/XP/2003 You can use remote desktop connection.....
Also as a side note. Its a very good Idea to install a virus scanner on your FirstSpot server. and I had just had to rebuild mine due to a virus... |
