is it possible to make a whitelist of mac's were they would not have to login? also how about a linux version??? |

Currently, the white list feature you mentioned isn't available; although it's on the wish list of our coming version 3.0.
FirstSpot runs on Windows platforms only. It runs very happily even on Windows 2000 Professional or XP. You don't necessarily need a Windows Server OS.

We have tested FirstSpot with XP Home and XP Professional, they all work well. But we haven't tested it with the XP-Embedded version.
Hower, according to Microsoft, XP Embedded uses the same binary as XP Professional. So, the bottom line is, you'll have to build up your embedded system with all the required components needed to run FirstSpot.
