Post subject: Client Disconnects

I have clients who report getting disconnected from services like AIM, World of Warcraft, Partypoker, and PlaystationNetwork/Xbox Live. They state they just get a disconnect warning, booted from the game and then they are able to immediately log back into their service. This occurs to a client whether their MAC is whitelisted, passively logged in, or standard Splash login. Clients note disconnects to be between 1-5 times per hour.

I have personally witnessed getting disconected from AOL Instant messenger because I randomly get alerts from the AIM server stating that my account is logged in under two IP addresses. Real IP address mapping is turned on and I have gone from one IP to another in the same session. Why would FirstSpot reassign an IP? I have been browsing the web without any difficulty or apparent disconnects so I don't think it's a LAN issue...seems to be a WAN<-->FirstSpot issue?

I performed a ping from a remote site with the following results:
731 packets transmitted, 691 packets received, +2 duplicates, 5% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 4.265/17.965/485.137/38.777 ms

To be more clear, I started out with a real IP of X.X.X.132 and twenty minutes later when I checked it was X.X.X.134. There was constant use throughout the entire session and there was never a disconnect.
