Multiple Network Segments

Will using Multiple Network Segments in a Centralized Network Topology allow us to have different sign-up pages per network segment allowing us to offer different sign-up options (prices, usage options, etc.) for each network segment?

Currently, FirstSpot allows for different login page per segment (via Redirect File).

When you mention different sign-up pages, can you elaborate a bit more on your requirements? How does the process work in a single network segment case?

Our network services several businesses in the same neighborhood. Each business would like the sign up page to be branded with their own logo, graphics and business information. Also, each business would like to determine their own pricing and bandwidth options which may be different than other businesses on other network segments.

We would like to use Multiple Network Segments in a Centralized Network Topology and would like to know if we can do the above with this Topology, or would we need to use separate controllers per segment, in which case it would be too expensive to do that given that the businesses we are serving are small and trying to keep costs down by sharing some services.

For self sign-up page, currently you can have one global page.

It shouldn't be too difficult to change the self sign-up slightly so that it will display different information (e.g. logo) based on the "source" segments. If you need assistance on this, please email us at firstspot@patronsoft.com with the detailed requirements to discuss further.
