Should Firstspot act as DHCP server or can I use my Windows 2008 server as DHCP server |

Yes, FirstSpot will work with third party DHCP server like Windows 2008 DHCP. Make sure you disable FirstSpot DHCP server first (and restart FirstSpot) before enabling other DHCP server. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

is there any configuration issues to be aware of because it doesn't work when Windows Server is acting as DHCP, but when Firstspot is DHCP it works |

Basically, you need to mimic FirstSpot DHCP server behavior. E.g. the default gateway and DNS needed to be Visitor Network Interface IP, and the client IP needs to be in a same subnet. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
