I have a nexus 4 phone and a nexus 7 that have both been updated to the new 4.3 android code. Using chrome or firefox to access the internet via wifi neither the Nexus 4 or 7 see the captive portal page. They both go to straight to the requested internet page. Anybody else see this behavior? |

I suspect that this problem is not caused by FirstSpot. Please check your network topology or Android device network connection (e.g. whether this is alternate connection) You might want to disable the cellular data before performing this test. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Alan,
That was the problem. I guess since it's a client side issue with two possible routes to the internet there is really no way to force them through the captive portal.
Thanks for your help. |
