Post subject: Trial Version to Migate licensed Version |

| Can I install the trial version on a secondary server in order to perform a migration of my licensed server. I want to be able to perform the install, import the backupConfig and then license the new server with the trial version to minimize downtime for my guest wireless services. |

| Does it have to be the same version or can I use the newest firstspot release? I am currently running Firstspot v8.02 Advanced Edition. |

| I have completed the install and all settings have been imported. I am at the process of transfering the license.key file. Can I just copy and replace the license.key file from existing server to replacement server? |

No. We will issue you a new license key if your Visitor Network Interface MAC address has been changed.

| The MAC Address will be changing on the Visitor Network Interface since this is a new server. How do I submit for a new license key? |
