| I am doing some custom reporting through a third party reporting tool and would like to understand the different between the pay_date and the order_date in the ppal database. when I translate the order_date out of unix time stamp they seem to be the same date/time. |

The order_date is when the user picks a FirstSpot Shopping Cart item.
The pay_date from the PayPal IPN (PayPal variable name payment_date), which should represent when the user actually completes the PayPal transaction.
