running firstspot for first time

Hi,
I am installing FirstSpot on a computer for the first time. I've gone through all of the steps in the readme file prior to installing software. I've also followed the beginning of Chapter 2 in the user guide.

When I try to run FirstSpot for the first time, I get an error message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

Can someone tell me what I need to do to get the software working?

So you try to access Configuration Manager via the FirstSpot program group shortcut?

Most likely the Apache web server is not functioning correctly. Please:

1) Make sure there is no other web server (e.g. IIS) installed in your machine. Also, disable any firewall in your system.

2) Try to start the Apache service manually in Windows Service Console. Notice any error message.

3) Do you have another Windows that you can install FirstSpot on? Sometimes, this is the fatest way as the original Windows might have something intervene with FirstSpot.
