|
|
Hi:
Im testing the Firstspot but with an external radius server. Is the Firstspot compliant with the most common redius softwares or only the two option over Windows 2003 IAS are really well tested.?
We need to auth with an external Radius as an option.
Is there any knowledge about well tested optional external radius servers.?
Many thanks
Regards

Hi:
After some reading about radius questions on the forum I m not clear if even in the last fistspot version the IAS radius as proxy is still needed for 3er party radius applications. I will appreciate any feedback. Im evaluating the fistspot vs other soluctions for Hotels but the intergration to external radius already in use is mandatory.
Thanks.
Regards.

As the RADIUS protocol is not tightly defined, RADIUS server (other than the supported MS IAS or NPS) may not work well. Still, you can test it from your side to see whether FirstSpot works with your RADIUS server.
The alternative is to use IAS or NPS as RADIUS proxy. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
