Almost certain database problem. Somehow your ODBC or datasource setting is not correct.
In general, try to use default FirstSpot setting as much as possible for your initial test. As a last resort, you might want to uninstall/reinstall FirstSpot. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

not going to use default settings on test, then purchase pay and have issues then pay for support, I have to set it up as will be set when used, i have to end of trial make this work, fully functional without issues not purchasing unless it is possible to resolve all issues this timescale.
we will defenatley purchase if we can resolve issues
you said your software was stable so far i have found 3 issues
reinstall and start agian ????? that means start again with all settings so far 4 hours
this would not be possible when in service.
what if i had 500 customers connected changed 1 setting and had to reinstall.
please help |

We are not against changing FirstSpot setting, but you do need to do the changes one-by-one and keep testing. Changing everything all at once and hope everything works is difficult to make it right.
In that case, you need to revert some of the changes. In particular, try to undo any changes related to datasource and PHP customization. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Regarding your previous auto-start problem, please try the below patch:
http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/download/patch/803/FSCONFIG.dll
Just download the above dll and replace with the one in your FirstSpot\cfgmgr directory. You should be able to change auto-start setting now. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

We are trying our best to single out the issue, but it is quite difficult to pinpoint sometimes.
How about you setup a separate testing FirstSpot in another Windows? Just use all the settings as default and try to get the basic working first. After that, we will try to compare the settings one-by-one.
BTW, does the auto-start patch working okay for you? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Okay, you definitely need to undo that 4 fields as it is highly suspicious. Go to the setup zip file, grab the original php and copy it back to the appropriate FirstSpot directory. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

software seems unstable so unless you can fix issues not going to go any further with this only changed 4 fields in a form and stopped working, and you are still making patches for it i suggest you test it on all platforms before trying to sell it, also loading all data from text files causes a very big system overhead looks good but too many issues and too unstable to use |

I can assure that FirstSpot is quite stable.
In fact, only the second problem is related to FirstSpot which we fix within 24 hours.
So by undoing your PHP customization does the problem resolve? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
