As FirstSpot purely works in the TCP/IP level, it will work if your Internet Network Interface use static IP or DHCP to gain Internet access (but not PPPoE).

Also, you might want to see Windows Firewall to block the Internet Network Interface side. To enable Windows Firewall in the FirstSpot machine, refer to http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1084 for more information.
