Alan,
We had a problem where the DHCP service was crashing. Today we've looked and the FSSendmail.exe is crashing out.
What log files do you need to see what the problem is?
Thanks,
G |

What version of FirstSpot are you using? Can you post your trace.txt file under FirstSpot\dhcp directory? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Well, the DHCP log looks normal.
Do you have any reproducible case on the DHCP crash?
Also, what is the exact time that the crash happened (within the trace.txt timeframe)? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

No.. the DHCP and the FSSendmail.exe crashes.. just user activity on the server itself.
We do not run any other software. Its currently on an XP Pro box however i was thinking of trying it on a WIndows 2003 Server box tommorow.
The box itself is very vanilla. |

Hi Alan
We are having the same problem. The link that you suggested to microsoft is not a valid page- perhaps you can repost. Will an upgrade to 4.0.9 solve this problem? Also, once the upgrade is done, will the license file for 4.0.1 work for 4.0.9?
Thanks- looking forward to your response. |

You should definitely try v4.0.9. And your license key will still work. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
