|
|
I'm using scenario 3 for my network.
Internet --> FirstSpot --> Router#1 --> Router #2 --> AP
The wi-fi equipment that i'm using supports snmp, and i would like to monitor it from the Public Network side (internet). The problem is, that when firstspot's NAT is enabled i cannot see the private network from the internet. So, when i disable the NAT from firstspot i can PING the private network from the internet but i cant receive any snmp (i have noted that port 161 is blocked).
Another thing is, that when i disable NAT my clients cannot be redirected after inserting their username and password. |

1) You need to turn off NAT, and then set the client IP or MAC in the client pass-through list
2) Note that when you turn off NAT, you need to setup a return route in the router in the next hop. Refer to firstspot_guide.pdf for details. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
