I purchased Firstspot Advanced, I got it up and running on Windows Server 2003 Web Edition, But while clients were connected and using the service I got this error:
Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Firsthop.sys F6A4A224 BASE AT F6A46000
0X000000D1 |

1) What version of FirstSpot are you using?
2) What is the chipset of your Private Network Interface card? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I'm now getting people complaining about being bumped off every 15 minutes and getting Trial Period notices. I copied the license.key file to it's proper place. |

Please try the v4.0.8 upgrade (not yet released) and give us feedback on whether this upgrade fixes your issue.
We will send you the download link via email. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

|
|
I installed the new version and at the login of windows server it still tells me that a service failed to start. I checked the event viewer and it says "The Patronsoft Firstspot Dispatcher service hung on starting." When I installed Firstspot I told it to automatically start. I got ahold of one of the computers that was having Trial Period notices and it is still doing it. |

I don't think that topic applies to this situation Firstspot is starting up fine, clients login just fine, but the program is acting like it's the trial version. Please HELP ASAP.
Thanks |

I turned the "Automatic" setting for the dispatcher to manual. I restarted the server, on login I no longer got the Patronsoft Firstspot Server hung error, I started the Firstspot Server manually, but clients are still getting trial period notice. |

You mean the client PC getting the trial version pop-up after login? Did you copy your license key over to the FirstSpot directory? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Yes, I replaced the license.key file that was already there with the one you sent me. |

Did you restart FirstSpot?
Please post your log file firstspot_gw_srv_[timestamp].log under FirstSpot\log directory for further analysis. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I didn't move the correct license.key file into place until around 10:30 or 11:00. and yes, I did restart the server and it did not help.
I'll email it to info@patronsoft.com, file is 2.5MB big and forum dosn't want to take it. |

You are still running as the trial version!
Can you double-check whether you copy the license.key to the correct place, or is the license.key the correct one? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
