Hi,
is it possible for some clients not to see the login screen??
I will run FS on a winxp pc, with 3 nics
nic 1 --> wifi AP
nic 2 --> LAN
nic 3---> ethernet router
all connections from nic2, should not see anything from FS and have unrestricted access. Besides this, i'd like to run a firewall on the same pc.
Is this possible?

If I understand your topology correctly, why don't you connect the LAN to the Ethernet router directly without going through FirstSpot?
Theorectically, your suggestion should work. You need to make sure only nic3's has the gateway setting but not nic1 and nic2. That way, Windows will route all the traffic to nic3. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
