start process and authentification

I have two problems,
at first, it seems that the status of the server is starting and starting and ........ starting and it never ends to starting..
and if I close the window I don't can open the configuration manager again.

And another question, have you a solution for broadcast? If we have more then 100 user as example there are connected to our Access Points many data "fly" through the network.
My idea is to verify the users directly on the AccessPoints over PPPoE because then I don't have this problems with the broadcast, but how I have read (please correct me if it's wrong) you software don't support PPPoE.

At the moment I work with Windows Server 2003.

1) Maybe your FirstSpot is not installed correctly. Make sure you uninstall Apache/PHP or anti-virus before installing FirstSpot. Also, please check whether our FirstHop driver is installed correctly. In general, the less software/driver previously installed the better. If you still have problem, please post your firstspot_gw_srv_[timestamp].log under FirstSpot\log directory for further analysis.

2) Not sure what you mean by "broadcast". FirstSpot works like a normal wireless network, except you need to login first before proceeding to surfing the Internet. In fact, after login you can think of FirstSpot acting as a normal router only.

because my first problem, the problem still exist... I have removed the software + driver... Restart server, install FirstSpot, check the driver for the networok interfaces, all okay. Start FirstSpot, press "Start" and he start and start and start but nothing happen.

Okay, through the error.log I have solved the problem, in my RAS settings was the RADIUS authentification mode active, I have chenged it to Windows and now you program start regulary.

But now I have the next issue, how I have read in the FirsSpot Guide can I after the successfully start put in in my web browser the private IP like 10.20.7.1 and then it open the log in screen as test. But the sites was not found.

Okay, after the first test with the netsh interface ip show offload command it shows me the
checksum for the network interface 2 (connect to the Access Point)

no checksum for network interface (connect to internet)

how can I change it now.

And the problem waht I mean is when I put in (on local machine) the IP 10.20.07.1 he try to connect to http://10.20.7.1/index.html and not to the login page of FirstSpot.
But if I put in 10.20.7.1:5788 he shows me
"You have already been logged in! You are free to surf the Internet now."

To disable offloading, either you change the setting in the network properties of your Private Network Interface or you can edit Registry directly. Refer to readme.rtf for details.

The link http://10.20.7.1:5788 is the correct link. The reason you see the message "You have already been logged in! You are free to surf the Internet now." is:

1) the client is already logged in and not yet logout. Note that once the client PC login FirstSpot, he needs to explicitly logout or wait for idle timeout mechanism to disconnect him.

2) there is alternative path for the client PC to reach the Internet (or Public Network Interface side). Please use command ipconfig/all to double-check

3) Your AP acts as a router instead of a bridge. You need to make sure the WAN port of your AP is not used. Refer to chapter 2 of firstspot_guide.pdf for details.
