Are you download using BitTorrent or other peer-to-peer software? Some of the peer-to-peer software will maintain a upload-to-download ratio, so slowing down upload will decrease your download as well. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

no trust me on this i dont use any torrent source. im checking from high speed stable ftp source without any backrounds internet softwares
for example im downloading 90M file on 190k/s stable speed and then i disconnect the user, change the throttling upload only to 5 k, reconnecting checking download speed again from same ftp and i get download speed of 150-160k |

1) We need to investigate on your download speed issue.
2) Are you using the trial version? It has a 15 minutes per-session limitation, see http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/editions.html for more information. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

We did some testings. It seems that even for download tasks, there are certain upload packets overheads (e.g. acknowledgement) that are necessary. Since you set the upload to 5K which is rather small, it will affect the download speed if your download is quite heavy.
The solution for you is to relax the upload Bandwidth Throttling limit a bit and experiment with higher settings. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
