Post subject: General Maintenance to User / Log files

Hi, I've looked at a few other threads talking about this but I'm not a SQL qualified person so don't follow the info too well.
I've also read the help pdf etc.

When you press the 'export all logs' button, which files does it produce, where do they get sent and does it matter how big they are? one of my files is getting over 250Mb (not just the URL log) and I believe it is slowing down the system

Similarly, which files in the datasouce folders should I be 'trimming down'. I found that by deleting most lines of the URL log it sped the system up.

Which files are actually accessed by the program, or are they just 'added to' by this SQL thing, so their size is irrelevant?

Any and all info about these files/logs and what routine maintenance I should be doing would be greatly recieved! Preferably in 'stupid speak'.

Cheers,

Andy
