|
|
Redirecting stops working and if we try to restart Firstspot, it keeps on displaying "Stopping" in the status view to the left. The only way to solve the problem is to restart the server. It happens randomly - sometimes it will run for a day or more, at other times it will happen after a few hours.
I tried to run a net stop command for the dispatcher service, but the result is the same - it hangs.
Offloading is disabled on the visitor interface, but not on the public interface. The server software is Windows 2003 Std. Server. We use the builtin Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit interfaces (Motherboard is Asus P5BV-M).
I hope you can help me.
Best regards

When the problem happens again, please:
1) stop FirstSpot
2) email us at firstspot@patronsoft.com your firstspot_gw_srv_[timestamp].log file under FirstSpot\log directory _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

We are not quite sure about your issue. Please try the following:
1) Since you are using the old v7.0.3, please upgrade this to current v7.0.6 first. This process will also rebuild your database.
2) If you still have issue after the upgrade, you might want to try to switch Visitor Network Interface side network card to another network controller (e.g. Intel, Realtek). Just email us your new MAC and we can issue you a new license key immediately. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~
