Post subject: How can I use a "=" sign in a URL used for "E

I have a new installation of Firstspot that I am setting up.

In the UI Customization, I tried to customize "Content of free links" and add the following link:

"Some Website=http://somewebsite.com/page.do?variable=parameter&user=username"

I also added somewebsite.com to the the "Exception Free Website" domains.

the problem is when my users open the login page and try to click on "Some Website", the system points them to "http://somewebsite.com/page.do?variable" and does not take into account anything after the "=" sign (i.e. "parameter&user=username")

Anyone knows how I can work around this?

Please download the below fix:

http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/download/patch/707/fix_content_free_links_patch.zip

Make sure you are using either v7.0.5 or v7.0.6. Just unzip the zip file, replace fs_login.php under FirstSpot\authserv directory (backup the original one first).

thanks. it works.

but a new related issue came up. The URL I am using is actually: https://booking.somewebsite.com/page.do?variable=parameter

after click the link, the user gets the following error page:
" there is a problem with this website's security certificate", it asks the user to either Close the page or "continue to this website".

When the user clicks on "Continue to website", the page goes back to the login page...even though *.somewebsite.com and https://booking.somewebsite.com/ are both in the free domain list under "Exception Free Websites"

Please put :

booking.somewebsite.com

in Exception Free Websites (Domain Name), and then restart FirstSpot.
