Hello
We are looking to upgrade an existing system but feel from what we have read that unfortunately FirstSpot may not be suitable.
We have several hundred existing users with individual login/password. Our existing system supports autologin (login once - set as Passive Login after first login) and allows up to 5 devices to be connected to the account at the same time.
Is this possible with FirstSpot?
Regards

The current version of FirstSpot support Multiple Logins (i.e. using one username/password for multiple devices).
Can you explain in more details what your requirement is? We want to know more about your background so that we can fit your requirements better. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Hi Alan
Thanks for the quick reply.
The way that login works on the current system is:
1. User is issued with a user name and password.
2. User can log on using up to 5 different devices .
3. After first login for each device the MAC is remembered and thereafter logs in automatically.
4. The user is able to connect with all these devices at the same time if necessary.
I hope I have explained it a little better this time.
Regards

Currently, FirstSpot Multiple Logins do not work with "login once - set as Passive Login after first login".
We might be able to add this feature for you. Can you elaborate a bit more on why you want to do it in this particular way? E.g. can you issue "single" login username account instead? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Wider company policy is that the login to systems is the Employee Number and their password.
Each employee can have several devices such as laptop, tablet, and different smart phones.
They often need to have several devices running at the same time.
So, we are looking to use the same user/pass multiple times, but from different MAC addresses / devices, and for this to happen automatically once the device has previously been authenticated. |

We are working on an improvement that will let you to use "Multiple Logins" and "Login Once - set as Passive Login after first login" at the same time. Will update you once we have completed. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
