|
|
Hello,
i've got a problem with our Firstspot Server. Everytime someone trys to log into the Firstspot Server it takes about 15 Minutes to get logged in.
After the User is logged in, there aren't any problems like network drops or slowdowns.
We have a seperated network for visitors.
It's setup like this:
Router (connecting to the Internet) -> Firstspot Server -> Accesspoints.
Router IP: 192.168.0.1
Firstspot External IP (pointing at the Router): 192.168.0.200
Firstspot Internal IP (Pointing to Visitor Network): 10.20.7.1
DNS-Servers in Configuration are Public (one of our ISP, one of Google).
Scenario:
A Client connects over WiFi via AP to the Firstspot server-
The Client gets:
IP: 10.20.7.50
Gateway: 10.20.7.1
DNS-Server 8.8.8.8
Connection to the Firstspot Server is valid (ping works, remote desktop to firstspot server works). When the User now trys to Login with the provided Credentials it takes about 15 Minutes to authenticate. Sometimes the connection times Out.
At the moment there are about 9000 Users Added to the Server.
Can this be the problem?
THanks in Advance |

This is not normal.
By default, the client should get 10.20.7.1 as DNS. Please revert to the default FirstSpot setting, restart FirstSpot, and try again. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
