|
DHCP server in the first spot stopped working suddenly.
DHCP not assigning IP addresses to the WiFi devices. However when an IP is assigned manually to a device it works perfectly.
Tried to restart the first spot service and even the server number of times but the DHCP won't work again.
How can I check the status of the DHCP in the first spot application or a log to troubleshoot this matter? |

Maybe your IP pool run out.
Please reset all existing client IP assignment by:
- stop FirstSpot
- rename the file dhcpservice.ini under FirstSpot\dhcp directory to something else
- start FirstSpot _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

I did the same and restarted the Firstspot service after renaming the dhcpservice.ini file.
The Firstspot service started without any erorrs but DHCP server is still not assinging the IP addresses to any client. |

In that case, most likely something wrong with your network. You need to double-check it using sniffing tool like Wireshark. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
