Post subject: startup questions

Hello. I have a few startup questions.

From my testing, it appears that all users must be created and then they may log in. It also appears that any given user may log on "one" at a time. We are interested in hosting a "free" hotspot that has a pass through or possibly allow one "guest" user to log on many PCs. Is this possible or are you considering this for the future?

We would like to have the "free" hotspot deliver our own splash screen at logon and possibly a popup ad like your "trial warning box". Your documentation is a little sparse in the area of trimming this to our specifications. Can you lend a hand here?

Out of curiosity, how long have you been in business with this program? It's a great idea and runs well on XP. I like the flexibility to have as many users as I wish, but right now we are stiffled in what we can do because of some limitations. Thanks for your help.

The coming version 2.1 will support a feature called Anonymous Mode (we have this running in our office already), which allows user to click a button in the captive portal to proceed. It fits quite well with your description.

Great to hear that you like FirstSpot so far. If one includes the initial concept planning stage, FirstSpot is under construction for a bit less than 2 years now. We already have customers in the US and in other part of the world.
