So we've set up the demo on a Windows 2003 VM (we're set up similar to your Centralized diagram in the manual)
Whenever a client connects, they get redirected to what should be a login page, but it immediately forwards to the logged_in.html. They can't surf anywhere else but this page, so at least it's being directed to the server.
Any thoughts on why it would completely bypass the login page at all? |

Most likely your client has a path that will reach the FirstSpot Internet Network Interface side.
Please try to simplify your setup. You might want to try Scenario 1 ( see http://patronsoft.com/firstspot/topologies.html ) and make sure FirstSpot work perfect first. Afterwards, you can experiment with Scenario 3. Again, try to stick with setup in chapter 4 of firstspot_guide.pdf as much as possible, at least initially.
If you still have problem, please post your:
1) ipconfig/all text output of your client
2) ipconfig/all text output of FirstSpot
3) config.ini file _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
