Post subject: Just getting started - trying to choose product

I have searched the 33 pages of questions but being so new I must have missed several things. Please help.
We will test a new Hot Spot next week and if all goes well we will receive a contract to do 53 more.
We want to keep 100% + - of revenue.
All are very far apart 3-20 miles. All will have their own DSL line on site.
We will want credit card prepaid billing.
Would like to use scenario 3
1) Do the sites talk back to the First Spot via their DSL lines via internet? or is some kind of hard wire needed, to tie them together. Then out to internet?
2)If we have to have a computer w/First Spot at each location, do we have to buy First Spot for each location? Or is there a price break for mult. locations, or can we use same copy at each computer. (location)
3) What switch & routers work best with First Spot?
Thank you-all for the time & bandwidth.

1) For sencerio 3, you can use dedicated or DSL line. For DSL line, you need to setup some kind of VPN-tunnel to "mimic" dedicated line to communicate with FirstSpot. The key issue here is that the traffic need to go to FirstSpot first before reaching the Internet. It can be quite technically involved to configure this correctly.

2) If you install to FirstSpot in each location, yes you need FirstSpot license for each copy of FirstSpot installed. There will be volume pricing discount, send us an email to firstspot@patronsoft.com to discuss.

3) For switch, we will pretty much neutral.

For router, note that only scenerio 3 requires a router. You should get a router that has DHCP relay function.
