Good morning from Greece and a happy new year,
i'd like to know how i can redirect all the traffic from internet through the proxy server i use (Ms Proxy Server with the specific ip:port of proxy).
All the setup process was successful, i did the login process as a wireless client with the WRT54G Wireless Router but i cannot see any internet pages cause the internet traffic doesn't pass throuth the specific ip:port 8080 of MsISA Server.
If there is a way to make things work (pass traffic throgh MsISA Proxy Server)i'd like to have further communication with you in order to buy this product. We are a free wireless community in greece and we would like to give free internet access to our local community.
Thanks a lot. |

So, is your topology like the below?
wireless AP/router === FirstSpot === MS-ISA === Internet
Is there any special reason to keep using the 8080 port, instead of 80? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Yes Kevin, my topology is just like you described.
We don't use the 80 port cause it's been used running other service on network. |

Forum:
I suggest to forum moderators to enable the post edit feature, in order to avoid the multiple posts.
First Spot:
Yes Kevin this the topology we use.
Alan unfortunately this is not possible. Our wireless network consists of many network nodes with long distances between them. This topology doesn't make our work easier cause it's difficult to support the dedicated machine of First Spot passing through other's place 24h/7d.
We just need a software to redirect traffic through proxy server dedicated ip:port.
Thanks a lot for your answers. |
