i am setting up firstspot in a very small hotel.. not more than 30-40 users and it is in india..it is going to be on a wired and wireless network..i installed the demo..and everything looks fine... the thing is we did not want to spend too much so the standard edition looked fine!!

i just need a basic setup where i can make user accounts give them time based access or day based access...and they can pay at the reseption either in advace or at the end.... i dont need any external billing

ok... now since everything is enabled in the demo i am confused... plz help me if these functions r not required!!

here r the features...what r all these features..

Option to disable NAT
Client isolation
Client pass-through
IP-based session handling
Password offloading

plz reply to me on all these features..

Karen,

From your description, we would say you can go for Standard Edition first. If you want the advanced features you mentioned (where we are yet to see any trace from your requirements stated), you can always trade up to Advanced Edition in the future.
