Post subject: Printing from the hotspot network

Hello,

now we use the patronsoft software very well.
When users attached and authenticated to the network, can there access a network printer connected to the same segment to print out something ?

Greetings from Germany

The simple answer is yes.

The more complicated answer is that we need to know where do you want to put your printer. So you want to put your network printer behind FirstSpot? Like:

Client -> FirstSpot -> Printer

After the client login, he should be able to access the printer. Note that you should configure LPR Protocol in the client side and use IP to access the printer. Also, sometimes Windows cannot "find" the printer, you need to type the IP explicitly.
