log off probs

we have a big problem with people not logging out when they finish. despite many notices in my shop

customers complain that there coupon is finished when they come back

i kniow its there fault but to make my life easier is there a way that customers can be logged off , say after 10mins of idle time


so when they leave without logging off they only lose 10 mins max

i have seen the idle time setting in dispacther but does not semm to log people off

any ideas please im useing version 2.11 as i refuse to pay the ridculous charge for upgrade to 3

Do your customers leave their machines open when they are off their tables?

Or they find air time used-up even they have shuted down their machines?

Idle time works when the client machine does not send ANY packets out. If a machine is left open; it is very likely it stills sends out some packets (e.g. email client, web page auto-reload, etc).
