Post subject: CIPA Compliant

For libraries that maybe interested, is there a way to make client computers CIPA(Child Internet Protection Act) compliant?

In our case we have a proxy server which checks if the site is allowed to be viewed within our line. If not, a username and password must be manually typed in for access to the restricted site. However, since in this case the client is a laptop, there's now telling whether or not the client has a key logger.

CIPA states the filter must be on at all times unless asked to be shut down. Is there an easier way to shut off a filter, perhaps through IP or MAC using first spot?

You need to implement web filtering in the router after FirstSpot. See http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=398 for details.
