Post subject: PayPal IPN

Hi,

I have the trial version right now. Neat stuff here.

I'm trying to get paypal to work. Do I require a static IP to complete the IPN notification from paypal?

Thanks.

BTW tried to register, but can't log in.

ok figured out the login stuff for the forum, so nevermind on that.

But I also was wondering if I can edit the login page on the trial version?

Yes.

If you just want to change the text or picture, you can go to the UI Customization category within Configuration Manager.

Ok, I didn't know you could change the text from the UI panel, I was able to change the pic.

Just to be clear I need a static IP to use paypal IPN. Any other way to get around this? I am currently testing out the system on my home DSL connection, but the place I plan to move it to would need to make a modification which pretty much would add $30 a month to the service fee.

BTW, Thanks for the quick response. Patronsoft seems to be a breath of fresh air in the service side of things.

Also if I buy the software, am I able to download it from your site or do I have to wait for the CD?

You can use the host.domain-name.com format in the post-back url. What you then need is a dynamic dns update client running.
