Mac Mail

We are using Outlook type mail programs successfully with Windows in our hotspot. We have had a couple of issues where customers with Macs are not being able to use "MacMail" would you know of a possible cause for this?

We have a new version (not yet release) which make your outgoing mail to redirect to your ISP SMTP server instead of FirstSpot SMTP server.

I will send you the instruction.

Alan,

I have a couple of questions before I do any updates...

With this software upgrade, is the database easily transferable? Also, how is the stability of this feature?

1) For upgrade procedure, please check out chapter 5 of firstspot_guide.pdf. I suggest you set up a test environment to verify whether this new feature fix your problem before going live.

2) The new feature is actually simpler than the old one, so I would think it is pretty stable.
