Please forgive my ignorance. When I click "export all" does it export and remove those files, or just copy them somewhere else? And where does it copy those files to?

Would it be possible to just copy the whole FirstSpot folder onto the new Versions program folder? That seems a little too easy though.

The "Export All" button will export all tables in a csv file. You need to copy the files, and import them back after you reinstall FirstSpot.

Again, chapter 5 of firstspot_guide.pdf has detailed instructions about upgrading FirstSpot.

Alan, I understand that I need to click that export button but if i were to "test" and click "export all" is it going to export the whole table and make it not accessible or does it leave the original copy there?

Chapter 5 isn't exactly clear on what to do. I think I understand, but not enough to feel comfortable. I "think" I know what most of it means but maybe that is above my level....

Export function will leave the original tables intact.
