License validation

I see that from version 4, a new online validation mechanism is in place.
I have downloaded the trial version for use with hotspots that use satellite terminals as gateways.
This mean that everytime firstspot is started, a validation would take place and satellite time would be used. This traffic over the satellite will be charde to me, but I will not be able to charge any customers.
Are there no other means to validate legit software - hardware dongle, etc?

Another question.... In the standard addition, is it still possible to print out pre-paid tickets for the customer?

1) Sorry, we don't have another way to validate the license. The network traffic should be very minimal though.

2) Yes, pre-paid ticket feature is available in Standard Edition. See http://www.patronsoft.com/firstspot/editions.html for details.
