Post subject: DHCP, security and overload

Hi, i´ve got a couple of questions.
1.- is there any way to block ips not given by dhcp???
i mean, i set on the dhcp, so clients connected get an ip, and when you activate the clients isolation if one client changes his subnet mask, he avoid this isolation, so he can ping other clients or devices in the wlan.

2.- What´s happening with 4.012 version?? Is it working fine or not???. It is posible to get an ip by dhcp different than the pool offered??? and why dispatcherservice.exe is consuming 100% of CPU so long??

Thanks a lot

I´ve got a license of version 4.

1) Sorry, we don't have that kind of control at this moment.

2) We have a lot of customers using 4.0.12. If your dispatcherservice.exe utilization is high, maybe your Hotspot network has peer-to-peer/spyware/virus. You can use tool like Ethereal to double-check.

Try to set restricted_redirect=1 in config.ini (see http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1402) to see whether this alleviate the situation.
