Post subject: Strange problem...

Has anyone had a problem come up all the sudden out of no where, where first spot users will receive an interception, asked to log on and then after they submit the correct information, it opens the small window and repeatadly does refresh after refresh and at the same time, you are redirected back to the sign on page again?

AFTER you sign on once more, you have a message that says "You are free to browse the internet" and you really are.

But I do not know what causes that or how to stop it from doing this...

Anyone?

Thanks

Did the client PC try to access the login page directly ( see http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1088 )?

Can you be a more specific? What are the exact steps for you to reproduce the issue?

Note that google.com is in the default Exception Free Website list. You might want to try other web site as a test.

Well I did it to google (not a free site here), and msn.com, cnn.com you name it...

I decided to rebuild the box last night and now its not doing it any more. Something must have gone bad some how on it though...

What should I check in the future if it comes up again though?
