We have just upgraded to the most recent version, and discovered a new problem you can send and receive via pop 3 without logging on! we have a lot of residential clients who use our system daily this is a massive problem for us. |

This is not normal.
Are you sure you didn't define some Exception Free Websites (which will allow the client PC to get email without login)? _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Apart from email, the client can access web sites without login too?
Please also check:
1) whether you define Client pass-through?
2) you are using Passive Login users
3) there is a router between client and FirstSpot _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

Please post your:
1) AllowedHostsIps.txt
2) AllowedHostsKeywords.txt
3) config.ini
What is your pop3 and smtp server? Also, so you can access both pop3 (receive) and smtp (send) without login?
I still recommend you make sure there is no router between your client PC and FirstSpot. The easiest way is to make sure the WAN port is not used in your AP. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
