Post subject: Users password

Hi, I need to obtain a list of users password from userdata.csv.

Can you tell me how can I obtain this?

There is any program that pass this value to ascii?

Thanks.

Sorry, the default password encryption algorithm is one-way and cannot be decrypted.

You can change the default password encryption using setting "Password Offloading". See chapter 3 of firstspot_guide.pdf for details.

Then how I can put all my users with their password in a new list to control this?

I have about 200 users, If I enable password offloading what it will happen?

They donĀ“t need to put their password or I can see they put in password box into userdata.csv

I am not quite sure about your question.

The userdata.csv contains the encrypted version of the password. FirstSpot doesn't need to "know" the password. When a user login, we just compare the encrypted version of the password.

But If I enable password offloading how Firstspot authenticate the users? Only by login?

Password Offloading just allows you to change the encryption algorithm. It doesn't change the login structure. Again, check out chapter 3 of firstspot_guide.pdf for details.
