Hi Support,
I have downloaded the TRIAL SOFTWARE of FirstSpot V5. When i configure in my local PC Windows XP. and Apache 2.0 with PHP 5. I am getting the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'com_exception' with message 'Failed to create COM object `FSCONFIG.Cfgmgr': Invalid syntax ' in E:\Websites\firstspot500\cmvar.php:7 Stack trace: #0 E:\Websites\firstspot500\cmvar.php(7): com->com('FSCONFIG.Cfgmgr') #1 E:\Websites\firstspot500\setlogin.php(2): require_once('E:\website...') #2 {main} thrown in E:\Websites\firstspot500\cmvar.php on line
Please assist me to fix this issue.

Did you have a previously installed Apache and PHP?
Note that FirstSpot comes with its own Apache and PHP, and you to completed remove them before installing FirstSpot. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

If I remove the APACHE AND PHP from my system. In which port how the FirstSpot will work ?

After you remove Apache and PHP (and FirstSpot too. If you need to remove FirstSpot manually, see http://www.patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6647#6647 ), reinstall FirstSpot by running setup.msi. FirstSpot setup will configure everything for you. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |
