|

Hi Alan, I have a new problem into my network. I have Several Ip public ranges with ARP proxy activated. I reboot firstspot each day because i have too much clients and I prefer reboot their accounts everyday.
My problem is when one user has the computer turn on all the day, when firstspot starts again, the server doesnt renew the ips of this clients. Then DHCP assign this Ips to the new clients making to duplicate it. A conflict ip address occure.
I would like to know if it possible renew all the ip address with "lease time for DHCP Client" option before or after I rebbot firstspot?.
First of all I put less idle time out to try to resolve this but I donĀ“t know if this will resolve my problem. Perhaps I need to reboot my APs at the same time that my server?
Thanks |

You need to issue:
ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew
for the client PC after restarting FirstSpot. _________________ ~ Patronsoft Limited ~ |

But I have more than 200 clients and its impossible to release a renew ip each of them.
Can you explain me "lease time for dhcp client" option ?
Which are the new features in version 5.01?
Thanks. |

How does it work "lease time for dhcp client" option ?
If i put this option each 10 hours, firstspot renew all the dhcp ip clients on my network each 10 hours? |
