Post subject: Firstspot doesn’t credit the customer’s account.

Hi,

I have an issue with the configuration of the payment via Paypal. I have checked everything listed in previous posts and I “think” everything is correct but my customers are not updated after buying credit.

Everything goes through correctly, paypal shows on their website that a payment was received and completed; firstspot sends us back to our store after the payment. Customer paypal shows the payment was completed but Firstspot doesn’t credit the customer’s account.

I have the following when I consult the “Recent transaction history” of my user:
Order Date: 2008-Apr-21 12:30
Item:test 1H
Amount:1
Quantity:1
Payment Status: Unknown Yet

I have no txn.log file in my log directory.

FYI, I've modified "www.paypal.com" to "www.sandbox.paypal.com" in FirstSpot\local\ppal_ipn.php and in FirstSpot\local\paypal_submit.php for testing in PayPal Sandbox.

The following test doesn’t work: http://202.xx.xx.xx:5789/ppal_ipn.php
I think that FirstSpot may not be able to receive notification of the transaction update, but why, that is the question 

I set the Publicly accessible URL to receive transaction update to http://202.xx.xx.xx:5789
I choose "Yes" for the field "Treat pending transactions as completed" in Credit Cards tab but the issue is the same

I configured my router like this:
Port triggering:
- Triggered range: 5789 to 5789 Forwarded range 5789 to 5789
- Port range forwared: 5789 to 5789 Protocol: Both (TCP and UDP) IP address: 192.168.51.254 (IP adresse of my server)

I use the latest version of firstspot and my OS is Windows 2003 server

Thanks in advance for your help

I still think you have problem with your router's port forwarding. Please perform a quick test similar to http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2124

BTW, have you taken a look at http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2058 ?
