Post subject: Server Stopped Notification

Hi,

I operate v5 on my second hotspot and I had a FirstspotCore fault which resulted in the server stopping. I restarted it successfully.

Is there a way to have the server restart automatically on failures? Is there also a way to get email notification when server has stopped?

You can do a auto-restart for service "PatronSoft FirstSpot Dispatcher" under Windows Service console -> Properties -> Recovery.

Since you are using v5, we can troubleshoot further the root cause of your problem. Please post:
1) the exact error message for firstspotcore.exe within Windows Event Viewer (Applications)
2) your firstspot_gw_srv_[timestamp].log file under FirstSpot\log (or FirstSpot\log\archive) directory (make sure you match the timeframe of your crash within the log file)
