Post subject: Enable hours of operation

Hello, we'd like to set our portal to allow annonymous internet access during a certain time of day, for example M-F, 9-5pm. Outside of this time-frame there should be no wireless internet connectivity

Is there a way to do this, other then creating a batch script using net start/stop and the built-in Windows Scheduled Tasks?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

BTW, absolutely love the firstspot product. Very straight-forward and easy to setup and use. Thanks!

You can try the "Recurring" user attribute. Go to Configuration Manager -> Users -> Add -> select Recurring to on.

Thank you for the prompt response!

We are a library and thus we want to allow annonymous web activity. We do not want to require our patrons to login.

Is there a way to do this without creating a user or am I missing something?

Thanks!

Well, if you use Anonymous Option, your net start/stop method is probably the way to go.

Thanks Alan! Looks like that's what we'll have to do.

Would be cool if that was a feature released in a future revision? Smile

Thanks again!
