Post subject: Authentication with RADIUS IAS

Hi, we are testing the application and follow the step in the guide for RADIUS with IAS. I notice the section for the new DLL for IAS. IS it a necessary step ??? Isn't suppose to work from the box ??

I'm running FirstSpot v5.1.6 on W2003Sp2R2 and connecting to IAS on Windows 2003 SP2 R2 Domain controller. My IAS is already use by VPN software so I know it work correctly !!!

Any help please ?!?!

Thanks in advance !!!

Without the DLL, FirstSpot (v4.0.9 or newer, see http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=945 ) will still work but with only login/logout (i.e. no other user attributes like timeleft)

See http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1175 for details.

Ok thanks !!! I will look to install with the DLL.

For now, we only want to have a authentification because the Wireless network is free for student but we do not want to offer to all people around the place. It is a very nice product and we will look to buy it shortly !!!

Thanks !!!
